paycode (optional)

What can the product do?

This product can be used to set up such a pre-defined transaction, taking into account important risk and fraud criteria (so-called security check), by means of one-time access to the online transfer function of a bank account.

In addition, there is the option of using a static online transfer website to query a pay code or a corresponding alias. This allows the definition of the online transfer by the merchant and the actual execution by the customer to run asynchronously (e.g. printing the paycode on invoices, etc.).

FinTecSystems is a purely technical service provider and not involved in the actual cash flow. The transfer is made directly from the customer's bank account to the supplier's specified receiving account using the online transfer payment form.

What happens?

The initial call by the merchant provides the necessary framework data for the online transfer to be executed. An individual URL is then made available to the merchant. Using this payment form, the customer can be immediately and directly requested to interact (login to online banking). Alternatively, the customer can be directed to a static online transfer website. The customer must then enter the individual pay code or an appropriate alias and is then forwarded to the payment form. After successful login, account selection and TAN entry by the customer, the security check is carried out and then the SEPA transfer is initiated in the background. The customer is then forwarded to a predefined success or abort page.

Once the payment form has been used, the process is identical to that of the payform product.

What steps are included?

The following functions can be used in this context:

Initial call

The following data must be provided by the dealer:

Amount, Currency, and Purpose

The following data can be provided by the dealer:

  • Initial language and individualization of the payment form
  • sender information
  • metadata
  • URLs for Forwarding and Information
  • alias

By transferring a BIC or a country code as part of the initial creation of a payment, the bank and/or country selection for the customer is skipped. If an alias is used, for example, a merchant invoice number instead of the technical paycode ID of the system, this alias can be used by the customer instead of the paycode.

Further details can be found in the interface documentation.

Static Website

The user can enter the paycode or alias via a static website. This starts the actual transaction process. This page can be accessed via the following link:

Payment form

The interaction of the end customer with the system takes place with the help of input masks connected in series (wizard). This interaction can be integrated in different ways into the business process and the system landscape of the provider, as forwarding or embedded in the own website via IFrame.

The end customer is guided through the wizard of our system. There, the end customer is shown a country and bank selection (if necessary), the bank-specific display of the individual login form, the display and confirmation of terms of use or data protection information and, if necessary, an account selection and TAN entry.

As a result of the initial call, a unique ID of this paycode is returned in addition to the URL for forwarding the customer. Using this ID, the details of this paycode can be queried at any time via a corresponding interface call.
